 Impossible de vous parler de Museumplein, sans commencer par vous parler des musées qui s’y trouvent. Et le plus imposant, c’est le Rijksmuseum… Celui que l’on peut traverser en vélo… Celui qui a aussi été en travaux pendant plus de 10 ans (au point où c’était presque courant de blaguer sur sa date de réouverture)… Celui où on trouve la Ronde de Nuit de Rembrandt ou encore la Laitière de Vermeer… enfin parmi les quelques 8000 pièces qu’on peut y trouver! Parce que le Rijksmuseum est bien plus qu’un musée d’arts, c’est une partie de l’héritage culturel néerlandais… et parce qu’il est immense et qu’on pourrait y passer une journée (testé et approuvé quand il pleut), avoir un guide avec soi peut se révéler être utile… Caspar, de Amsterdam Museum Guide, est en fait un peu plus qu’un guide parce qu’il nous raconte une histoire : Read the full story

“Mijn week begon goed: maandagochtend kreeg ik een rondleiding door het Stedelijk Museum van Caspar van Amsterdam Museumguide. Een tour door een museum? Is dat niet suf? Ik geef je geen ongelijk als dit je eerste gedachte is. Ik heb een Museumkaart, kom graag in musea, maar doe eigenlijk nooit onderzoek naar een eventuele rondleiding door een museum.  Maar: Amsterdam Museumguide is anders. This sounded so appealing that we went there on a Sunday afternoon, even though the summer-like weather that day was very inviting for outdoor activities (those living in the Netherlands should understand how difficult it was to make such a decision!).
